The term adobo is usually associated with marinades. However, Caribbean Adobo differs from other versions such as Mexican and Filipino because it is used as a dry spice rub instead.  Within the Caribbean, Adobo is used as an all-purpose seasoning. It is often the base flavour for stews, soups, sauces, and beans. Try using on turkey steaks, lamb and pork cutlets and joints of beef.
